Key Responsibilities
Ensure the on-schedule provision of development environments for IC design, including PDKs, foundational IPs, design flows, and design data management systems.
Evaluate and select appropriate EDA tools and drive the continuous advancement of the design tool infrastructure and associated methodologies.
Interface to and manage local silicon foundries and IP vendors during development
Manage tapeout processes with foundries and ensure accurate delivery of mask data for manufacturing.
Represent Elmos China at customer meetings, technical conferences, and in working groups, actively promoting company interests.
Ensure quality of foundry & IP vendor deliveries by defining, setting up and executing internal input QA.
Support design teams with ESD reviews
Required Qualifications
University degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Several years of professional experience in EDA tools, IC design flows, and semiconductor technology; additional ESD/EMC knowledge is a plus
Deep knowledge of EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor, Empyrean, etc.) and methodologies for analog, digital, or mixed-signal IC design.
Strong knowledge of IC design flows, PDK integration, and data management systems.
Experience with tapeout processes and collaboration/interfacing with semiconductor foundries.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.
Fluency in Mandarin and English; German is a plus.
