Job Title: Embedded Software Test and Toolchain Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive Embedded Software Test & Toolchain Engineer to join our
Embedded Software team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and
executing tests for embedded software for ICs. Your work will ensure the quality and
reliability of software for ICs. This includes developing automated test frameworks,
maintaining tool chains, and performing integration and qualification testing. You will
collaborate closely with development teams to deliver robust, real-time software
compliant with industry standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ASPICE.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test specifications based on
system and software requirements.
• Execute integration tests and qualification testing, ensuring compliance with both
functional and safety requirements.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and
coverage.
• Maintain and enhance DevOps system, ensuring automated test execution and
reporting.
• Develop and maintain test and development toolchains and scripts for automated
workflows.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve
issues.
• Create and maintain test documentation in accordance with ASPICE and ISO
26262 standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
• University degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Science, IT, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in embedded software development or
testing, preferably in the automotive domain.
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques, integration testing, and qualification
testing.
• Hands-on experience with test tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework,
Tessy).
• Proficiency in Python and scripting for test automation.
• Embedded C development skills for understanding and validating software
behavior.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, and related standards.
• Understanding of electronic circuits and automotive electronics including typical
bus interfaces.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in multi-cultural teams.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English; German is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with test management tools and reporting systems.
• Exposure to Vector CANoe, Spy3 or similar automotive tools.
• Familiarity with V-Model and Agile development processes.
• Additional scripting experience in Bash or similar.
