Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer for our Mixed Signal IC Design Team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the analog/mixed signal part of Mixed Signal IC Development projects in accordance with the product requirements specification. That includes deriving a detailed specification from early architectural exploration and technical architectural research, creating and verifying the functional and physical implementation of analog modules from schematic to GDS II. Once the silicon is available you will support the digital/analog hardware and software integration, and execute the product verification.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the on-schedule provision of development results for IC design according to the design flow.
Design and implement analog circuits for Mixed Signal ICs using industry-standard design tools and flows.
Contribution to the system architectural design and its evaluation, the implementation and functional as well as parametric verification of analog circuitry from schematics to the physical design including mixed signal simulations of the back annotated netlist, sign-off of the GDS II.
Ensure that the analog circuitry meets the overall system requirements by debugging and verification.
Optimize the design for production test, power, performance and area.
Write and review design documentation.
Work closely together with cross-functional teams to integrate your design into the chip architecture.
Stay up-to-date with the latest analog/mixed signal IC design technologies and trends.
Create and maintain quality management documentation relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and internal guidelines related to environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and fire protection within the area of responsibility.
Required Qualifications
University degree (Master or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Several years of professional experience in analog/mixed signal IC design, IC design flows, and semiconductor technology, ideally in automotive products.
Profound user experience with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor, Empyrean) and methodologies for analog/mixed signal IC design.
Professional experience in electronic measurement technology.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.
Fluency in Mandarin and English; German is a plus.
Preferred: Qualifications
Knowledge of ESD, latch-up prevention, and reliability best practices.
Experience in lab testing and silicon validation.
Exposure to low-power design techniques and power management.
Understanding of DFT (Design for Test) and production test implications.
