Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and seek new business opportunities for the local market by targeting new customers to increase our market share and profitability.
• Introduce, promote, and sell a range of marine coating products in destination area through regular customer visits to maintain good relationships and obtain market information.
• Follow-up on projects within allocated geographical territories by coordinating and monitoring closely with project personnel to ensure Company products are used to achieve the sales budget.
• Troubleshoot, resolve and escalate specific customer problems
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, good customer service, and achieve company goals.
• Monitor collections to ensure customer payment is received within an agreed term to achieve budgeted days outstanding.
• Execute assigned sales activities related to achieving currently given targets in terms of volumes and gross margins through customers by providing direct service to the customers to ensure that the company achieves overall profitability.
• Responsible for the market mapping and expansion in the territory by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors to increase Company's market share.
• Maintain good data quality of CRM applications.
• Organize, develop, motivate, and lead sales teams by setting clear targets and framework, coaching, supporting, following up, and monitoring each team member in line with The Penguin Spirit to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above, major in chemical / shipping / marine related is preferred.
4-6 years of hands-on sales experience, 3 years of sales leader experience is preferred.
Familiar with marine industry, sufficient experience in premium products selling.
Good communication & presentation skills, good English skills in both oral & written.
Passionate, mature, self-motivated, customer oriented, result driven.
